With their best finish at the county tournament since 2006, Einstein will send four wrestlers to the Regional Tournament at Sherwood HS starting at 5:00 p.m. Friday evening. With 37 points, the Titans finished ahead of eight other schools including DCC rivals Kennedy, Northwood and Wheaton and only ½ point behind Damascus.
Tommy Wilson (112) advances on the strength of his third place finish and Ricky Echeona (140), Chris Byars (145) and Alec Anderson (161) advance based on the point system which is based on season records and tournament placement over the season.
Jorge Villatoro (119) and Oscar Salazar (125) have been selected as alternates.
